Sharia Commitment
Islamic rulings and conditions we follow in every service we perform by wakalah: proxy, intention and naming, slaughter and distribution, and Umrah Badal.
Wakalah (Agency)
All our services are carried out by wakalah: you appoint us to perform the rite for you, so the intention and naming are in your name, and it is done as if you were there yourself. Appointing an agent for the slaughter is established in the Sunnah: the Prophet ﷺ sacrificed some of his offerings with his own hand and appointed Ali to sacrifice the rest (Muslim).
Correct Intention (Niyyah)
The person carrying out the service names the beneficiary and makes the intention for that specific person — alive or deceased — before beginning.
A Trained Team
Services are carried out by a trained team, each person a specialist in their work. Sacrifices meet the required age and health conditions, and distribution follows the prescribed rules.
Who Umrah Badal Can Be For
It can be performed for a deceased person, or for a living person permanently unable to perform it with no hope of recovery; it is not valid for a living person able to perform it themselves. Its basis is the hadith of the woman from Khath'am, who asked the Prophet ﷺ whether she could perform Hajj for her father, and he said: "Yes" (al-Bukhari and Muslim); and the hadith of Abu Razin al-Uqayli, to whom the Prophet ﷺ said: "Perform Hajj and Umrah for your father" (Abu Dawud, al-Tirmidhi and al-Nasa'i; al-Tirmidhi graded it hasan sahih).
